The end customer is one of the biggest electronics producers in the world (and in Japan) involved in the project WMATA (Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority).
The customer is interested in developing a system that manages all aspects of safety on train board.
The system has a number of required primary task to be performed, from the doors opening to the registration data of the train on the “black box”.
We analyzed all the standards required by the USA and as a result the components to be used to identify the solution. The critical points of the project were the reliability required for mobile devices, low power consumption and the limited space available.
We proposed a modular rack solution to our customer that uses advanced technology components, able to consume very little energy and very high reliability. We designed the solution up to the final prototype ready to be produced in series.
